I just heard on the radio that the airports surrounding the Super Bowl couldn't support the influx of private jets coming in for the game. If New York and New Jersey can't meet the demand for the Super Bowl, how the hell do they thing they'll be able to support a Formula One race there? I heard there were only 80,000 in attendance for the Super Bowl. How many came to the last US Grand Prix: 113, 000+ on raceday, 250,000+ three day attendance.
They'll be parking planes in Philly!

Are there airports in the area besides JFK and LGA? It could be an issue of slots over space. IND and AUS did just fine supporting F-1s corporate customers.

Tons. Newark Liberty, Teterboro, and a handful of others that slip my mind. I'll look them up when I get back to the office.

Corporate traffic mostly goes to Teterboro, NJ. For the Super Bowl they had filled all parking, and were allowing traffic to come in, drop off passengers, and fly somewhere else to park.

Isn't the NJ F1 race definitely not happening, at least according to Bernie?

I doubt the private jets will fly to lga/jfk/ewr. Don't they have teterboro and other smaller airports around that region? They'll be more than welcome to base these guys
